2005-02-26 - 11:58 p.m. Mike and I have been sleeping like logs since we got back and have been taking a beating from our new pal jet lag. I always thought people were just being babies about jet lag before I moved here. And I most definitely do not envy people like Mike’s dad or Janna’s (my twin) husband Jason. They fly all around the world at all times. They’re like Santa. They manage to be everywhere at once, and do not carry on about jet lag like I do. I am so special. I have jet lag. Woo hoo. Okee dokee-it’s wedding time!!! I went home to see my sister get married, and I had a really hard time coming back. Janna was a Barbie bride. She looked like a kajillion Barbie bucks. Hot pink sash tied in a huge bow on the front of her dress. She rules. Jason wore a ruffle tux shirt with pink trim. He rules. My nephew carried a ring pillow with Munchiechies (those monkeys that suck their thumbs from the 80’s) on it. Nobody knows this little tidbit, but I‘ll let you in on the useless secret- My nephew, Jackson, said “What’s up DOC?!” no less than 50 times while we walked down the aisle during the wedding. He rules too. I got to see almost all of my family! It was a beautiful wedding. Congratulations Janna and Jason!!!!! Here are a few pictures-I didn’t get many good ones because for some reason at the wedding my hand was really shaky…couldn’t have been the incredibly large glasses of wine I was drinking, could it? I will write a proper entry after I get caught up at work and after this huge dance performance this week. This one doesn’t involve the Chinese government, but it will still be exciting….Janna, you are a dazzling Barbie bride. I want to be like you when I grow up…
