ni hao... I hope everyone is doing fine where ever you are. I am doing well other than I am losing my ability to speak English. The kids in my class speak very very very broken English, and I, being the sponge that i am, have soaked it right up. Me sad. Speaking of the little cuties, here's 2 of them actually learning something. Aren't they cute??? They're seeing how many drops of water they can fit on one yuan. Surface tension, baby! me smart. (or sometimes i think i am!)

And here's a gang of them doing their morning excercises.

And these are the ladies who dance every morning in the parking lot of the grocery store near my school. People are so healthy here--I love it. If you go walking through any park (or grocery store parking lot apparently) early in the morning, you will see people doing all sorts of exercises. Health health health!!! They dance for over an hour, and they use all sorts of props-fans, little puffy balls, and SWORDS! They are serious. I asked them if i could take their picture, (okay so I didn't ask, I did the whole charades thing) and they thought I wanted to dance I suppose, because within seconds I was handed a sword, a few puffy balls and a fan. They are so friendly. And they dance to Tammy Wynette sometimes. If I wasn't so allergic to exercise, I'd join them.

The people Mike works with invited us to dinner at HOOTERS! I thought I was safe from this sort of establishment, but they found their way over here unfortunately. Mike is just as upset about it. haha. Make sure you bring earplugs if you ever happen to come to this particular HOOTERS--the waitresses come running up to you and yelling, "WERCOME TO HOOTERS!!!!" It's ear-piercing, really.

And to end today's ramblings, here's Mike and me in Old Shanghai. Mike's addicted to haggling. We go every weekend now. He even bought pants from the mean lady. If my family is reading this, I love yall and I am pretty homesick right now. If you're not family, I am sure that in time I could find something to love about you too...
